Tom Ward

Mr. Tom Ward, a current resident of
Crawfordsville, Indiana, began his karate training in 1973 at a local dojo.
He earned his Black Belt in 1977. As a Shodan he began searching for more advanced
training in the Kobayashi Shorin Ryu system. In 1978, he met and began training
with Mr. Eddie B. Bethea, Jr., 8th Dan of Kokomo, Indiana.
Mr. Ward passes on this knowledge at his own dojo in Crawfordsville, where he
is devoted to developing the very best in his students. Stressed at the Crawfordsville
School of Karate are the five spiritual qualities fostered in karate: Courage,
Courtesy, Integrity, Humility, and Self Control.
