Dojo: Houston Texas/ Head Instructor "Ei Shin Kan" Traditional Karate Center In the mid seventies, every teenager wanted to be "BRUCE LEE "or "BILLY JACK" I was no exception. I started training under MR. Larry Hoyle of KOMAKAI ACADEMY in 1974 at the New Castle, in. YMCA. After 6 months, I moved to Houston Texas (my love for the Arts still intact) met and continued my training at BFD'S Survival and Self Defense under Marine Special Forces, Charles Allen. Received Instructor's rank in 1984. I moved back to Indiana and reunited with KOMAKAI ACADEMY and Mr. Keeney in 1999. Became one of the very few live in students in 2006 and assisted Master Keeney with seminars. In 2007. I moved back to Houston for employment, and continue training in Goju-Ryu with Ramon Veras, A student of the late Miyazato Ei'Ichi and Texas State Director of Miyazato's Goju Kai. I held my first tournament in 2008 and helped start the PKC in Texas and was named co-director of Region 6 in 2008. As I Continue the path, I find the more I learn, the more I learn I don't know. My goal is not that of a teenager, I can not be "BRUCE LEE" or" BILLY JACK", but to be myself and continue to learn to defend myself, and my honor, not for selfish reasons but to build character in myself and pass on to others. I will say that I am proud to be one of Mr. Glenn Keeney's Black belts, which in its self is an honor liken to a Hall of Fame. FAVORITE QUOTATION: IF YOU CONTINUALLY GIVE, YOU WILL CONTINUALLY HAVE.
